Matt + Luz

Wedding Overture

This story is a celebration of international love, bridging two countries, cultures, and languages into a single, harmonious narrative. From their first playful dispute over who made the first move, to their journey towards becoming a fully bilingual couple, Matt and Luz have woven their diverse backgrounds into a vibrant tapestry of shared experiences. Their wedding, much like their relationship, was envisioned to be a unique and special experience for everyone involved, reflecting not just the union of two hearts but the coming together of two worlds. Matt's passion for coffee and Luz's rich family heritage played a symphony of flavors and memories, crafting a love story as intoxicating as a meticulously brewed cup.

Luz’s Leitmotif

Uplifting nationalistic Mexican influences reminiscent of the Huapango, by Mexican composer José Pablo Moncayo (a piece Luz told me she's long cherished) combined with her ebullient, yet regal and stoic presence.

Matt’s entrepreneurial spirit and drive to make his dreams become a reality coupled with his passion for the picturesque scenery of his home state of New Hampshire manifest in a sweeping, cinematic theme starting out in the cellos and building out through the whole orchestra.

Matt’s Leitmotif

Hear the magic come together.

“We still enjoy it until today, and think we will enjoy it forever.”

“Of all the details that we planned for our wedding, this was definitely the most unique thing we could have done. We still enjoy it until today and I think we will enjoy it forever. It's a priceless thing. We think back on our wedding and remember our wedding day, we always talk about the piece that Ron wrote for us — it's just one of those things that made the day even more special than we could have imagined.”
